Legal Notice & Product Disclaimer

Suitability

Lick n' Clip is designed for non-reactive dogs with no history of aggression, fear-based behaviour, or resource guarding. This product is not suitable for all dogs.

Do not use this product on any dog that:

  • Has a history of biting, snapping, or redirected aggression 
  • Displays fear-based or anxiety-driven behaviour
  • Guards food, treats, or objects (resource guarding)
  • Shows stress signals during handling, including but not limited to: stiff body posture, whale eye, lip licking, yawning, freezing, or growling

If you are uncertain whether this product is appropriate for your dog, consult a certified professional dog trainer or veterinary behaviourist before use.

Supervision Requirement

Lick n' Clip must be used under direct adult supervision at all times. In the event your dog displays any stress signal, discomfort, or resistance, remove the product immediately and discontinue use.

Assumption of Risk

By purchasing and using Lick n' Clip, the purchaser and/or user acknowledges and accepts that:

  1. They have assessed their dog's temperament and confirmed the dog is suitable for use of this product.
  2. They understand the product is positioned in close proximity to the dog's face and head, and that use on an unsuitable dog presents a risk of injury.
  3. They accept full responsibility for supervising all use of the product.

Lick n' Clip and its founder(s) shall not be held liable for any injury, harm, or damage arising from use of this product on a dog with any of the contraindicated characteristics listed above, or from any unsupervised use.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under applicable Ontario and Canadian law, Lick n' Clip's liability for any claim arising from use of this product is limited to the original purchase price of the product. This limitation applies whether the claim arises in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise.

Lick n' Clip does not exclude liability for personal injury caused by its own negligence, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing Law

This notice is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes arising from the use of this product shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
